The chilly winter days can severely damage your lips, and if you started to notice yours have become chipped, cracked or flaky, then you need a good and highly nourishing lip balm! Here is how you can make your own Eos lip balm, at home:
Step 1: Gather The Ingredients!
For this highly nourishing and moisturizing lip balm, you will need:
- Half a teaspoon beeswax
- 1/4 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon shea butter
- Few drops of jojoba oil
- Olive oil and an empty Eos container
Step 2: Mix All The Ingredients And Then Heat Them Up
Now that you have gathered all the necessary ingredients, you must carefully mix them in a small glass bowl and then put it in your microwave for 60 seconds. The heat will melt the ingredients, thus resulting in a creamy, homogenous paste.
Step 3: Add A Touch Of Color To Your Homemade Lip Balm!
After taking out the glass bowl from the microwave, all you have to do is to add a bit of lipstick (choose your favorite shade) to the entire mixture. This will make the balm burst with flavor and color – you can also add a couple drops of peppermint oil to the mixture, if you want to give the balm a subtle scent.
Step 4: Pour The Mixture Into The Container
The final step is to pour the entire mixture into the container and just let it sit for five minutes, before placing it in the freezer for 10 extra minutes. That’s it! Check out this Video Tutorial below:
